Waymo Sets Sights on Munich as It Accelerates European Expansion
Waymo will begin testing its robotaxis in Munich in the coming weeks and aims to start a passenger‑free autonomous taxi service by late 2027, after securing permits with German authorities. The move follows the creation of subsidiaries in France, Spain, the Netherlands and Switzerland and precedes a planned public launch in London.
