Vinted Completes Migration to Proprietary Payment System in Germany
Vinted announced that it will stop using Mangopay for seller payments in Germany and switch to its proprietary Vinted Pay system. The change, finalised on 5 October, will allow tighter control over wallets, bank‑account matching, security checks and identity verification. Vinted Pay has been piloted in the Baltic states and several Eastern and Southern European countries, while Vinted still relies on external providers such as Mangopay and Adyen in markets like the Netherlands, France and the UK. The move does not end Vinted’s partnership with Mangopay, which was extended earlier this year.
