Cambridge Photonics Firm Salience Labs Raises $125 Million for AI Datacenter Optical Switching Expansion
Salience Labs, a Cambridge‑based developer of photonic chips for AI data‑centre connectivity, secured $125 million in a Series B round led by Bullhound Capital with participation from AMD Ventures, Intel Capital, SBI Group, Hudson River Trading, British Business Bank and existing backers. The funding will be used to scale manufacturing, roll out its optical circuit switching technology, and expand its engineering team and geographic presence.
