MyConnector Platform SRL, a Romanian startup that provides a virtual and hybrid event platform, was fined €6,000 for GDPR violations after a security breach exposed personal data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, personal identification numbers and ID document details. The breach was caused by inadequate security testing and the use of real user data in test environments.
