Machenta, a London‑based robotics startup founded by Imperial College professor Edward Johns and his PhD student Vitalis Vosylius, announced a $40 million seed round co‑led by Creandum and Union Square Ventures. The funding will be used to scale its AI model that enables robots to learn new physical tasks instantly and to grow its team.
