Uber to Acquire Delivery Hero in Major Consolidation of Global Food Delivery Market
Uber, the US mobility and delivery giant, has entered into an agreement to acquire Delivery Hero, a German-based food delivery company operating in over 60 countries. The deal aims to create one of the largest players in the global delivery market by combining Uber’s logistics expertise with Delivery Hero’s portfolio of brands like Glovo, Talabat, and Foodora. The transaction requires shareholder and regulatory approvals and is expected to close once all conditions are met.
