Dutch startup Braid, founded in 2023 and rebranded from Next Communications, secured €34.13 million in Series A funding to accelerate its API‑based platform that lets brands embed SIM/eSIM connectivity into their products. The round was led by Octopus Ventures with KPN Ventures also investing. Braid, profitable and cash‑flow positive, plans to use the capital for global expansion and to enhance its carrier ecosystem.
