European Medtech Consortium Launches Battle Truck Initiative to Deliver Advanced Medical Evacuation to Ukraine
Battle Truck is a European‑led initiative to create a durable, technology‑rich medical evacuation vehicle for Ukraine’s war zone. Spearheaded by volunteer medic Howard Hunt, the project brings together Dutch vehicle‑engineering firm NIXXEN, UK’s Molecular Products, US‑based Velico, Estonia’s AO‑Med and Denmark’s Phoenix Denmark. The team is raising €500,000 to acquire a van and integrate the partner technologies, aiming to produce 3‑4 prototype trucks that can be tested on the front lines and later scaled for broader use.
