Romanian Coffee Brand Cafeneaua Parcului Sinaia 1905 Surpasses 1 Million EUR in First-Year Revenue

Cafeneaua Parcului Sinaia 1905, a newly launched Romanian coffee brand, has generated more than 1 million EUR in revenue during its inaugural year on the market, marking a notable achievement for a consumer brand in its growth phase. The company, founded in 2025 by entrepreneur Radu Savopol, has rapidly secured shelf space across Romania’s major retail networks and established a presence on leading e-commerce platforms.

The brand is already stocked in prominent supermarket chains including Carrefour, Auchan, Kaufland, and Profi, while also maintaining availability through online marketplaces such as eMAG and Freshful. This multi-channel distribution strategy has proven effective in reaching consumers across both traditional and digital shopping environments within the first twelve months of operation.

A Personal Vision Behind the Brand

Savopol, previously known for building the 5 to go coffee chain, approached this new venture with a distinctly different strategy centered on storytelling and place. “For me, Cafeneaua Parcului Sinaia 1905 starts from a personal connection with Sinaia and the desire to carry forward the story of a place that deserves to be discovered,” Savopol explained. “I wanted to build a Romanian brand where the taste of the coffee and the story behind it support each other.”

The founding narrative demonstrates a deliberate approach to product development. According to Savopol, the blend underwent nearly a year of refinement and testing to achieve the desired profile. “That’s why I spent almost a year developing and testing the blend, looking for a coffee suitable for every day, that preserves the character of a coffee enjoyed in a café,” he stated.

Growth Trajectory and Future Plans

Looking ahead, the company has outlined an ambitious roadmap for the coming twelve months. Planned initiatives include expanding shelf presence within existing and new retail partners, amplifying brand awareness through targeted marketing efforts, and launching new product variants. A Crema blend is among the new offerings scheduled for introduction as the portfolio expands.

Savopol emphasized the importance of maintaining the brand’s core identity as it grows: “As we develop the portfolio, I want to keep this link with the place we started from and give people a reason to come back to us, cup after cup.”

European Context

The performance of Cafeneaua Parcului Sinaia 1905 reflects broader trends within the European consumer goods sector, where regionally-focused brands with authentic storytelling have found successful pathways to market penetration. Romania’s retail landscape has increasingly welcomed locally-produced specialty food and beverage products, particularly those emphasizing heritage and place-based narratives. The brand’s rapid achievement in securing distribution across major retail networks suggests growing consumer appetite for premium domestic coffee offerings in Central and Eastern Europe.
