London‑based XRlabs, a surgical intelligence startup founded by neurosurgeon Dr. Ali Haddad in 2024, secured €7.48 million in Seed funding led by Playground Global with participation from Eka Ventures. The round will help the company expand its engineering and clinical teams and push its AI‑driven surgical platform through regulatory approvals across Europe and the US.
