Southampton-based Viridi secures €2.6 million to scale CO₂-to-chemical technology globally
British deep‑tech spin‑out Viridi, founded in 2020 at the University of Southampton, raised €2.6 million in a round led by Odyssey Ventures with participation from Alphatron Impact Ventures, TOP Ventures and existing angels. The funding will be used to scale its CO₂‑based surfactant technology, grow the team and expand commercially into Asia and the United States.
