London‑based startup Penelope Health raised €87 million in a funding round led by Thoreau, with participation from Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments, Twine Ventures and Seedcamp. The capital will be used to expand its real‑time payer policy intelligence platform, creating a shared infrastructure for payments and clinical rules, and to launch new products that reduce administrative burdens in healthcare. The company, founded in 2025, already covers policies for over 200 million Americans.
