Swedish Biotech Omnio Secures €2.9 Million to Advance Wound-Healing Therapy Toward Clinical Trials
Swedish biotech startup Omnio secured €2.9 million in new funding to push its plasminogen‑based biologic therapy for diabetic foot ulcers and other chronic wounds into pre‑clinical and early clinical development, following a €4.3 million round in 2025. The capital will be used to scale GMP manufacturing, run toxicology studies and set up the first patient trials, with a further financing round planned for 2027.
