Italian Agro-Food Cooperative Atipiche Wins National Sustainability Award for Fermentation-Based Model
Atipiche, a cooperative startup from Collalto Sabino in the province of Rieti, was highlighted at the 8th edition of the National Festival of Civil Economy in Florence. The company builds a participatory economic model around fermentation, short‑chain agro‑food production, educational labs, catering and territorial experiences, aiming to regenerate rural areas and preserve local food heritage. It received the “Premio Nazionale Prepararsi al Futuro 2026” award, which targets young startups focused on sustainable development.
