London AI Recruiting Platform Metaview Raises €53.1 Million in Series C Round

Metaview, a London-based artificial intelligence platform focused on recruiting, has secured €53.1 million in Series C funding, the company announced. The round, equivalent to $60 million, was led by Insight Partners and included participation from GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural, and Garuda Ventures.

The funding brings Metaview’s total capital raised since its 2018 founding to €97.4 million. The company plans to deploy the new capital across several strategic initiatives, including expanding its workforce from 80 to 250 employees, launching its autonomous recruiting agent “Fillmore” to general availability, and opening an office in New York.

Expanding AI-Driven Hiring Solutions

Metaview’s core proposition centers on automating and streamlining recruitment processes through artificial intelligence. The platform aims to address longstanding inefficiencies in hiring by introducing autonomous agents designed to handle recruiting workflows with greater precision and speed.

Siadhal Magos, the company’s leadership, articulated the broader vision behind the funding: “The best engineering teams have already moved from writing code by hand to orchestrating AI agents that do the work. Recruiting is next. We’re rebuilding hiring with AI at the core to make it radically more efficient and precise, while creating a better system for everyone involved.”

The introduction of Fillmore represents a significant product milestone. The autonomous recruiting coworker is designed to handle repetitive and time-consuming recruiting tasks, freeing human recruiters to focus on more strategic aspects of talent acquisition. Beyond Fillmore’s expansion, Metaview intends to develop new specialist agents tailored to different recruiting functions.

Growth and Market Positioning

The funding round underscores significant investor confidence in AI-powered recruiting solutions at a time when companies globally face competitive pressure to improve hiring efficiency. Metaview’s expansion plans reflect ambitions to scale beyond its current UK base, with the New York office opening representing a direct move into the North American market.

The company also plans to scale its 10x Recruiting community and training programme, suggesting a broader ecosystem play beyond core software offerings. This initiative appears designed to build a community around recruiting best practices and AI-driven hiring methodologies.

The Series C round follows substantial earlier capital raises, indicating strong investor appetite for the recruiting technology category. With €97.4 million in total funding, Metaview joins a growing cohort of European AI startups targeting enterprise workflows in talent acquisition and hiring processes.

The London-based company’s growth trajectory reflects broader trends in the European startup ecosystem, where AI-driven enterprise software platforms continue to attract significant institutional investment. As European founders increasingly challenge established recruiting software vendors with AI-first approaches, companies like Metaview demonstrate the region’s capacity to produce competitive solutions in strategic technology categories.
