Guideless, a Lithuanian artificial intelligence startup, has raised €1 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate development of its AI-powered software training platform and support its expansion into new markets across Europe and the United States.
The funding round was led by Superhero Capital, with participation from venture capital firm FIRSTPICK VC and angel investors Thomas Plantenga, Vytautas Atkočaitis, and Mantas Mikuckas. The capital injection represents a significant milestone for the early-stage company as it looks to scale its operations and enhance its core product offering.
Automating Workflow Documentation
Guideless has developed a platform that leverages artificial intelligence to automate the creation of software training materials and operational documentation. Rather than requiring manual documentation processes, the company’s technology captures workflows and converts them into structured, actionable knowledge that organizations can deploy across their teams.
According to Evaldas Bieliūnas, co-founder of Guideless, the platform serves a broader strategic purpose within organizations. “We designed Guideless to convert every workflow it captures into structured operational context, eventually forming an evolving memory layer that preserves institutional knowledge as teams, tools, and processes change,” Bieliūnas explained.
This approach addresses a persistent challenge faced by many organizations: maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation as business processes evolve and team members transition between roles. By automating this process through artificial intelligence, Guideless aims to reduce the time and resources traditionally devoted to training and documentation.
Expanding Team and Markets
The newly secured funding will be allocated toward three primary objectives: accelerating product development to enhance the platform’s capabilities, growing the startup’s team to support scaling operations, and funding international expansion efforts. The company plans to enter the United Kingdom market while broadening its presence across Europe and establishing operations in the United States.
This expansion strategy reflects confidence from the investor consortium in Guideless’s market potential and the broader demand for AI-driven solutions that can streamline organizational knowledge management and employee training processes.
Growing AI Infrastructure in Eastern Europe
The funding announcement underscores the continued development of artificial intelligence and software-as-a-service capabilities emerging from Lithuania and the broader Baltic region. Eastern European startups have increasingly attracted attention from both regional and international investors seeking innovative technology solutions that address operational efficiency challenges.
As organizations worldwide prioritize digital transformation and the automation of routine administrative processes, platforms like Guideless represent the types of AI applications gaining traction across European markets. The investment reflects a broader trend of venture capital flowing toward companies developing practical AI tools designed to enhance workplace productivity rather than experimental applications of artificial intelligence technology.
