Berlin AI Startup Qorelo Secures €3 Million in Seed Funding for ERP Modernization

Qorelo, a Berlin-based artificial intelligence startup, has raised €3 million ($3.5 million) in Seed funding to accelerate its mission of automating and simplifying ERP system upgrades and migrations for enterprise clients using SAP software.

The funding round was led by HPI Ventures, with participation from Caesar Ventures, 10x Founders, Antler, Adesso Ventures, and Angel Invest. The company plans to deploy the capital towards scaling its growth operations and advancing its product development capabilities.

A Critical Market Need

The startup addresses an urgent challenge facing large enterprises across Europe and globally. Many organisations are racing to modernise their digital infrastructure before the 2027 deadline imposed by SAP’s end of support for legacy systems. This hard deadline has created intense pressure on companies to complete complex upgrade and migration projects within a compressed timeframe.

Speaking about the market conditions, Qorelo’s leadership noted that the industry faces a fundamental constraint: “Large enterprises are facing an unprecedented race against time to modernise their digital backbones before the 2027 deadline, but the industry simply lacks the human delivery capacity to make it happen,” according to Nicholas Torabi.

Automating Complex Processes

Rather than relying entirely on traditional consulting and manual implementation approaches, Qorelo’s platform leverages machine learning and artificial intelligence to streamline the upgrade and migration process. This approach aims to reduce the human effort required while maintaining the quality and precision necessary for mission-critical enterprise systems.

The startup’s technology addresses a market where skilled SAP implementation resources are increasingly scarce, and project costs continue to rise. By automating routine aspects of ERP upgrades, Qorelo enables organisations to complete their modernisation initiatives more efficiently and cost-effectively.

European Startup Momentum in Enterprise AI

Qorelo’s funding reflects broader investor confidence in European startups tackling enterprise software challenges. The combination of investors backing the company—ranging from venture firms to angel networks—demonstrates diversity in the funding sources supporting Berlin’s growing AI and enterprise technology ecosystem.

Founded in 2025, Qorelo enters a competitive but expanding market segment. Enterprise resource planning modernisation represents one of the most significant technology spending categories for large organisations, particularly as regulatory pressures and competitive dynamics force companies to modernise legacy systems.

The startup’s emergence also underscores Berlin’s position as a hub for enterprise-focused AI solutions, complementing the city’s broader reputation for technology innovation. As European enterprises accelerate their digital transformation efforts heading into the critical 2027 deadline, startups like Qorelo are positioned to capture significant market opportunity by providing automation-first solutions to otherwise resource-constrained modernisation projects.
