Jack & Jill, a London-based artificial intelligence startup focused on transforming the hiring process, has closed a €34.68 million Series A funding round led by Air Street Capital. The investment brings the company’s total funding to €52.9 million since its 2025 launch.
The round included participation from a diverse group of investors: Madrona, Antler, Creandum, Ada Ventures, Entrepreneurs First, Expedite Capital, Repeat.vc, Dig Ventures, Firedrop, Episode 1, and Playfair. The capital will support Jack & Jill’s expansion strategy across the United States, building on recent launches in San Francisco and New York.
How Jack & Jill’s Platform Works
Jack & Jill operates a dual-agent system designed to streamline the recruitment process through conversational artificial intelligence. Rather than relying on traditional resume searches or automated outreach campaigns, the platform deploys AI agents to represent both job seekers and employers. These agents work to identify genuine matches, initiating introductions only when both parties express genuine interest in speaking.
The approach represents a fundamental shift in how recruitment technology operates. By placing intelligent agents on both sides of the hiring table, Jack & Jill aims to reduce wasted time for recruiters and job seekers while improving the quality of connections made.
Strategic Expansion Plans
The new funding will primarily target geographic expansion within the United States, where the company has already established a foothold on the West Coast and in New York. The investment reflects confidence in the company’s model and its potential to scale across North America’s competitive hiring market.
Nathan Benaich, General Partner at Air Street Capital, explained the firm’s investment thesis: “The next leap in hiring will not come from better searches over the same resumes or more automated outreach. It will come from putting an agent on both sides of the table and making the introduction only when both sides would take the call.”
Timing Within the European Startup Scene
Jack & Jill’s rapid capital accumulation and successful Series A positioning comes as European AI startups continue to attract significant venture attention. The recruitment technology sector, in particular, has seen increased investment as companies seek to leverage artificial intelligence to solve longstanding challenges in talent acquisition and job placement.
The London-based startup’s ability to secure backing from multiple experienced investors and venture capital firms demonstrates growing appetite for AI solutions that address practical business problems. As the European startup ecosystem matures, companies like Jack & Jill exemplify a trend toward founders building global platforms while maintaining operations and headquarters in Europe’s major tech hubs.
