Solinide Photonics, a Swedish deep-tech startup developing advanced photonic technologies, has closed a €4 million seed funding round to accelerate commercialisation of its silicon-nitride photonic integrated circuit technology and prepare for scalable manufacturing.
The funding round was co-led by Navigare Ventures and PSV Hafnium, with participation from Chalmers Ventures, Turbine Capital, Norrsken Evolve, and Almi Greentech Fund. The capital injection marks a significant milestone for the startup as it seeks to establish itself in the competitive photonics sector, particularly for artificial intelligence datacentre applications.

Solinide Photonics specialises in microcomb technology based on silicon-nitride photonic integrated circuits. The company’s approach addresses a growing demand within the AI infrastructure sector, where datacentre operators require increasingly sophisticated interconnect solutions to handle massive data flows between servers and processing units.
