Danish TravelTech Startup Entravel Group Secures €6.5 Million Series A to Build Stablecoin-Powered Travel Infrastructure

Entravel Group, a Copenhagen-based travel technology company, has closed a €6.5 million Series A funding round to accelerate its growth as an infrastructure provider for AI-driven travel commerce across Europe.

The round was co-led by Ethereal Ventures and Finality Capital, with participation from GSR, Varrock, G1 Ventures, Seier Capital, Veris Ventures, Funfair Ventures, and WTG Ventures. The capital injection represents the company’s first major institutional funding since its founding in 2026.

Scaling Operations and Credit Facilities

The newly secured capital will be deployed across several strategic initiatives, beginning with the establishment of larger supplier credit facilities to strengthen relationships with accommodation providers and other travel partners. This expansion will enable Entravel Group to handle significantly higher booking volumes while maintaining operational efficiency.

According to co-founder Mathias Lundoe Nielsen, the platform’s performance metrics already demonstrate considerable market traction. “Across our live white-label platforms, users can save up to 60% on selected hotels, while average booking conversion rates are above 10%, compared with an industry benchmark of approximately 1–3%,” Nielsen stated. These figures suggest the company has developed a compelling value proposition compared to traditional online travel agencies.

White-Label Expansion and Blockchain Integration

Beyond supplier infrastructure, Entravel Group plans to expand its white-label travel model into traditional travel distribution channels, allowing partners to embed discounted travel services into their existing platforms. This approach positions the startup as a B2B2C solution rather than a consumer-facing marketplace.

More notably, the company intends to develop a stablecoin-enabled financial layer designed to streamline settlement processes and unlock working-capital financing options. This blockchain-based component represents a significant technical undertaking, combining distributed ledger technology with travel commerce to create more efficient payment flows between platforms, suppliers, and financial institutions.

European Context

The investment reflects growing interest from venture capital in blockchain-enabled infrastructure for traditional industries. While cryptocurrency adoption in travel has progressed slowly compared to other sectors, the use of stablecoins for B2B settlement and working-capital solutions has gained credibility among institutional investors seeking to reduce friction in supply chain finance.

Entravel Group’s focus on white-label technology and supplier integration places it within a competitive segment of European TravelTech, where companies like GetYourGuide and Hopper have already scaled significantly. However, the integration of blockchain-based financial rails distinguishes Entravel’s approach, potentially enabling smaller travel platforms and traditional agencies to compete more effectively on pricing and operational efficiency.

The Danish startup’s Series A closing adds to a broader pattern of European tech companies exploring blockchain infrastructure for commerce, particularly in categories where working-capital financing and multi-party settlement present operational challenges.
